Counselling

I am a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with over 25 years experience in the field. I am innately curious about people, human nature and the human condition. I strive to be present for my clients and see my work with them as service and that being of service to people is a true calling. I approach my work with clients from a holistic perspective and I utilize a Mindfulness approach in our work together. I truly believe that the therapeutic relationship is a crucible for true change and understanding in our lives. Are you ready to do the work? You’re not alone. Let’s do this.

About My Counselling Practice

I provide counselling and psychotherapy services for individuals and couples in London and St. Thomas, Ontario. My practice supports people navigating emotional stress, relationship concerns, trauma, identity exploration, health-related challenges, and major life transitions.

Counselling offers a space to slow down, reflect, and better understand patterns that may be affecting your well-being or relationships. My role is to walk alongside you with care and curiosity as we work toward insight, stability, and meaningful change.

Professional Background & Clinical Focus

As a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist in Ontario, my work is grounded in ethical practice, ongoing learning, and respect for each client’s lived experience. I draw from trauma-informed and mindfulness-based approaches, adapting our work together to meet your individual needs and goals.

I work with both short-term and longer-term counselling, depending on what you are seeking support for. Sessions are collaborative and paced to support reflection, understanding, and practical application between sessions.

Inclusive & Affirming Counselling

My counselling practice is inclusive and affirming. I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and identities, including members of the LGBTQ2S+, kink, and ethically non-monogamous communities. I aim to provide a space where clients feel respected, supported, and understood, without assumptions about identity, relationships, or life experience.

Individual & Couples Counselling

I offer both individual counselling and couples counselling for clients in London and St. Thomas, Ontario. Individual counselling may focus on personal growth, emotional regulation, trauma processing, or navigating life transitions. Couples counselling focuses on communication, connection, and understanding relational patterns.
